New-Media Sales Executive (NYC Based)
Hippopost™ is an exciting new consumer application that allows users to automatically create and mail FREE personalized printed postcards directly from their smart phone, favorite web site or online community. Wherever you are, select, write, and send a free postcard in under 2 minutes. Free to consumers, Hippopost is funded by advertisers who are seeking an integrated mobile/online and offline medium that is measurable, low-risk, and quickly adaptable to existing strategies and tactics.
Hippopost is aggressively expanding its US Sales & Marketing focus and is seeking top-level media/advertising sales closers to help with our aggressive growth plans. If you call New York City home and have a proven ability to sell new media to Advertising & Media Buying Agencies as well as client direct relationships, this is an exciting ground floor opportunity to be a key contributor as we commercialize in the US and expand to additional global markets.

Responsibilities
- Promote/Advocate Hippopost to proactively develop new customer contacts and close business
- Building strategic relationships with Director thru C-Level executives
- Develop and maintain personal pipeline of unique leads
- Submit weekly and monthly business development activity sales report in a timely manner
Core Compentencies & Qualifications
- 5-7 years media sales experience
- Proven ability to sell new & emerging media concepts
- Existing relationships with the Media & Ad Agency community
- Strong Client-direct rolodex/contacts within the following key verticals
- Consumer Package Goods
- Wireless
- Entertainment
- Travel
- Automotive
- Financial Services
- Ability to close large sales opportunities in a dynamic and extremely fast paced, fun, positive environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint wireless e-mail devices)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
